I went for the singapore airline interview which was conducted last saturday, 4 Dec.
just wanted to go for fun to gain some interview experience but i just cannot believe that i got through the first round of the interview!!!!! It was like a dream as you know what, the first round of SIA interview is a KILLED round, possibility of getting in is like 2 out of 10. Of course I didn't get through the second round because I lack of working experience and my english is sucks sucks sucks. TT~~~
I was reaching towel regency hotel at around 8.45am and went in the conference room.
The girl sitting there asked me to submit the application form and two photos.
AHHHHHHHH~ I really blurred I left my photos in my purse and forgotten to bring them out!!!! i stupid dao~~~~~
okay, she said never mind and asked me and chia ern to have a seat. ohya, have almost forgotten about chia ern, thank her for accompanying me to come for the interview! :D
talked with some new friends while waiting for my turn.
First Round~
We were in a group of 10. We went in a room and two interviewers were sitting there.
We sit accordingly and the male interviewer asked us to use less than one minute to give a self introduction and answer a question 'What fruit would you want to be?'. The interviewers are friendly!! :)
I was the second last to answer. How lucky I'm! So that I could have enough time to think of the answer. Banana the first came to my mind when talking about fruit. HAHAHA. Most of them answered mango, strawberry, grapes and bla bla. There's a girl who answered durian it's because only those who like the smell will appreciate it. WOW. Of course she got through the first round!
Okay, it's my turn. I talked about my name, age, where am i from, studying currently then I said that I would choose banana because it has got fibre and can prevent constipation as currently i'm suffering from constipation. After i told the answer, everyone laughed include the interviewers. Haha
This is how I got through the first round. Lucky huh???
Tips: Give the answer that out of expect and smile! :D
P.s: Proud of being 18! People got shocked when i was telling my age HAHAHA.
Second Round~
I thought second round was suppose to be skin check but is a 1-1 interview. Weird lar. I waited for two hours for my turn. = =
I went in a room and the interviewer started to ask me a lot of questions! AHHHHHHHHHH~~~~ xiasui nia....my english was like bullshit~~~ then i simply answered the question without thinking! yorr!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND! the interviewer talked so softly and too fast, i just kept 'HAR? HAR? HAR?' instead of saying pardon. = = i stupid dao~~~~
The questions are:
1. Tell me about your previous job. (yor, i just have one month of working experience. TT~)
2. Why do you want to be a cabin crew? (this question was expected)
3. What is your strengths? (= = i was lying, i told him that i am responsible, patient and commucative = = but the truth is that i love to meet new people :))
4, How your strengths be used when you're working?
5. Describe the job of a cabin crew.
6. What is discombination? (chim~)
7. If a passenger shouted at you that you didn't get him a drink but in fact he never asked for a drink....what would you do?
8. One of your workmate lazy and just sit at there didn't go and work, you worked for so hard but got complained by a passenger, what would you tell to supervisor? (walao eh, so tough! i stucked in this question for around 5min = =)
9. Passage reading. (yor!!! my english ah~~ xiasui nia... there are some words like suites, deteriorated and colleage = = wa beh hiao read lar~~~ paiseh nia)
hmmm...there was more and more questions he asked, but i've forgotten some~ hee~
Through the interview i learned something~
It's important to have a mature set of thinking!!! In fact, my thinking is sooooooo immature!
AND!
It's time to improve my english!!!!!!! wahaha~
